Hyderabad: As part of World Children’s Day, senior students at Bachupally Oakridge International School sponsored the educational needs of children at the Aashri Society Orphanage and donated a full library facility to foster a love of reading in the children.
As a first step in promoting quality education, these students pledge to actively give back to the community and provide quality education to students in need. In addition, a wellness camp is organized to promote the physical and mental health of all support staff.
Inspired by these senior students, even Oakridge Bachupally’s Early Years students have joined in the celebration and promotion of quality education for all. They participated in a range of activities such as a creative space costume party, a CAS event, building a rocket from recycled materials, and a donation drive themed ‘Build a school for my friends’.
