New Delhi: Legendary ex-athlete and nominated Rajya Sabha member PT Usha has been nominated for the vice-chairman panel.
Announcing the decision, chairman Jagdeep Dhankar said: “This is the first time the panel has appointed a nominated member.”
She was nominated along with YSRCP member Vijay Sai Reddy.
Meanwhile, House leader Piyush Goyal demanded an apology from LoP Mallikarjun Kharge for his speech in Alwar.
The opposition parties also urged that China’s violations in Arunachal Pradesh be discussed in the House of Representatives.
