Paris: Indian star duo Satwick Seraj Ranjiredi and Chirag Shetty clinched the biggest title of their careers, beating Chinese Taipei’s Lu Jingyao directly in the men’s doubles final on Sunday Yang Baihan’s way to win the French Open Super 750 Championship.
The world No. 8 duo finished runners-up in 2019, outwitting Lu and Yang with a powerful offense, and ranked 25th 21-13 21-19 in a 48-minute peak matchup.
So the Indian duo continued their dream this year, winning the India Open 500, Commonwealth Games gold, Thomas Cup and an unprecedented bronze medal at the World Championships in August.
