Warangal: The children and relatives of the late Kolipaka Prakash Rao, a prominent criminal lawyer, are carrying out several service activities in Warangal to commemorate his centenary, his daughter Dr K Arun Jyothi said here on Sunday.
Dr. Jyothi said in a press release that they recently donated fans to the Mallikambha Mano Vikasa Kendram, as well as books, pens and other materials for the prisoners of the Vyasya Avasam (hotel) in Hanamkonda.
“Kolipaka Prakash Rao was born K Srirama Rao and Lakshikanthamma in Warangal on June 21, 1923. He worked as a government advocate and prosecutor for six years and was known for his successful career,” she said, adding that Prakash Rao also Served as Chairman of the Warangal Bar Association.
“He was 57 when he died. Former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao visited the house after his death,” she said. A few days ago, the family, including grandchildren, produced a memoir in memory of him.
Several family members, including his grandson Devaraju Shiva Prasad, an IPS officer in the Karnataka cadre, also shared memories of his grandfather.
