Shah Rukh and Kajol were at the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday night, where their blockbuster “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” opened.
Several images and videos from the first day of the festival have been circulating online and fans of SRK and Kajol will no doubt enjoy seeing the duo take to the stage in a glamorous fashion.
In one clip, SRK is seen singing “Tujhe dekha toh” from “DDLJ” to Kajol.
He also delivered his famous dialogue in “Baazigar” for the film’s heroine, Kajol.
SRK and Kajol wear black twins at a special screening of their film “DDLJ.” SRK also received a special honor at the Red Sea Film Festival.
“I am extremely honored to receive this award at the Red Sea International Film Festival. It is a pleasure to be among the fans in Saudi Arabia and the region who have been huge supporters of my films. Be part of an exciting film community. Film is a unity because it conveys shared human experiences across cultures. You love a film because it stirs emotions in you, no matter what language or culture it comes from. Thank God for the subtitles. It brings all that is human to the fore, and perhaps better than any other art, it demonstrates that although the world we live in is vastly different, our basic pursuits and emotions are the same,” he said after the award .
“Film celebrates diversity. It doesn’t stop exploring differences fully. In doing so, in the most beautiful way, it teaches us not to be afraid of those differences,” added SRK.
Apart from Shah Rukh and Kajol, AR Rahman and Priyanka Chopra were also present at the opening ceremony of the Red Sea Film Festival.
