Hyderabad-based startup Banyan Nation has won the Social Enterprise Award at the Economic Times Entrepreneurship Awards 2022. Fintech company Razorpay won the Startup of the Year award.

Hyderabad: City-based startup Banyan Nation has won the Social Enterprise Award at the 2022 Economic Times Startup Awards. Fintech company Razorpay won the Startup of the Year award.
The event, held in Bangalore on Saturday, brought together over 350 elite guests from across India. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnaw attended the event as guests of honor to present awards to the winners.
Banyan Nation is a technology-based recycling and waste management startup founded in 2013 by Mani Kishore Vajipeyajula and Raj Kiran Madangopal. The Hyderabad-based startup helps companies use more recycled plastic instead of virgin plastic. In 2021, Banyan Tree Kingdom was named the 2021 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. It was also the winner of Intel and DST Innovate for Digital India Challenge 2.0 in 2017.
T-Hub took to Twitter to congratulate the vertically integrated plastic recycling company on its award.
