Hyderabad: Chief Information Council Information Commissioner Vanaja N Sarna addresses senior Indian Air Force officers from across the country who attended an Advanced Course on Right to Information Law sponsored by the Indian Air Force and chaired by Dr Telangana Government MCR HRD Institute .
Sarna said the RTI Act is a powerful tool to enable transparency about the nature and quality of governance and ensure it is citizen-centric. Therefore, she calls on officials to process applications they receive under the RTI Act with a high degree of importance.
She stressed that all organizations need a system to identify employee grievances in advance, deliberately attempt to address them professionally, and find lasting solutions.
Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, DG, Dr MCR HRD Institute & Telangana Government Principal Secretary, in an interaction with senior Indian Air Force officials, highlighted the importance of conceptualizing and implementing the growing RTI Law training programme, especially its nuances and actual implementation.
Deputy Marshal of the VSM Air Force RS Singh said that the training programme conducted by the MCR HRD Institute Ph.D. has greatly helped Indian Air Force officers to process RTI applications in a professional manner.
Co-Director General and Telangana Government Secretary Anita Rajendra, CPA Supervisor and Course Director Dr Madhavi Ravulapati also spoke.
