Hyderabad: December will bring good news for unemployed youth and government job seekers, as the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has issued a series of job announcements.
TSPSC is working to post job announcements for 726 Group II, 1,373 Group III and 9,168 Group IV vacancies in December after the finance department approved the recruitment. The number of vacancies in Group III services is likely to increase due to the State Government’s recent addition of new positions for Groups II, III and IV services.
According to the revision of GO No.55, 6 positions were added for Group-II services, 2 positions were added for Group-III services, and 4 positions were added for Group-IV services.
Previously, the finance sector had allowed recruitment for 663 second-category vacancies. However, these positions increased to 726 due to the addition of new positions for Group-II services. Likewise, the number of positions recruited under Category III services may increase.
To expedite the process of issuing notifications and starting recruitment, TSPSC held a series of meetings with officials from different departments starting Monday. On Monday, TSPSC Chairman Dr B Janardhan Reddy and Secretary Anita Ramachandran held a meeting with about 30 departments on Group IV recruitment.
“Roster points, indentation, retention, etc. related to Group II, III and IV service recruitment will be discussed in detail. In all, meetings with 94 departments will be held in approximately three to four days. Notifications for Groups II, III and IV will be Released in December,” the source said.
Of the 80,039 vacancies advertised so far, the Ministry of Finance has approved recruitment for 61,804 vacancies and the remaining 18,235 vacancies will also be approved soon.
The last Group-II notification was issued in 2015, and a total of 1,032 vacancies were recruited. Again, these 1,521 vacancies were filled in the past under Group IV.
