Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed officials to ensure that no poor are homeless in the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath listened to around 300 people during the Janata Darshan program in front of the Mahant Digvijay nath Smriti Hall at Gorakhnath Temple before performing “Kanya Pujan” on the occasion of Ram Navami.
Taking the opportunity, he said the government has done a good job in providing basic facilities such as roads, housing and electricity to the civilian population.
He also assured the public that if there were any issues with the basic facilities provided by the government, they would be resolved as soon as possible.
Addressing the rally, CM Yogi said, “Those who have housing problems will get housing. Any village or place that has connectivity problems will have roads repaired and built there as needed. Electricity bills that have not been paid will no longer be a burden, Because after modification, there is an option to pay in instalments.” CM assured everyone present at Janata Darshan that the priority of his government is to find a solution to the problems faced by the public in Uttar Pradesh. “If someone has neither land nor money to build a house, it should be arranged under the government scheme,” the prime minister said.
During Janta Darshan, a woman raised the issue of lack of roads in her area, CM heard the issue and immediately instructed officials to build roads in this area immediately.
As a result, another woman told the Chief Minister of her unpaid electricity bill, seeking his help to allow her to pay in installments.
In response, Chief Minister Yogi said, “not only can you choose to pay your outstanding bill in instalments, but you can also amend your electricity bill to minimize the arrears”. He also directed officers to act swiftly in this regard.
Instructions were also given to officials during the Janta Darshan CM Yogi to act swiftly, effectively and satisfactorily on police and tax related matters. At the same time, he assured those who came seeking financially supported treatment that a shortage of funds would not affect their treatment. “Once the estimation process is complete, the funds are released from the CM discretionary fund,” he said.
