Surat: On Monday, party leader Varys Patan claimed that the window glass of the Vande Bharat Express in Gujarat was broken by some unidentified persons, with Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, on board.
Patan claims that the head of AIMIM, along with the party’s Gujarat president Sabir Kabriwala and other party leaders, were travelling from Ahmedabad to Surat on the “Vander Barrat Express” when the incident occurred , there are still nearly 25 kilometers away from the destination.
AIMIM leaders shared photos of damaged window glass and tweeted: “Tonight when our @asadowaisi, SabirKabliwala sahab & @aimim_national team took the ‘Vande Bharat Express’ train from Ahmedabad to Some unidentified people threw and smashed the glass when he was in Surat. Stones from the train!” At a public meeting in Gujarat, Patan could be heard in a video claiming that two stones were thrown back-to-back at Ahmad. Asaduddin Owaisi’s coach.
“We took the Vande Bharat Express from Ahmedabad to Surat today. When we were 20 to 25 kilometers from our destination, a stone was thrown and the window glass was damaged. Owahi sat in the carriage. Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Dec. 1-5 in the state, with votes counted on Dec. 8.
