Hyderabad: On Friday, with the support of the headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, the Army Welfare Resettlement Organization organized a large resettlement event for the families of veterans, widows and armed forces personnel from Telangana at Golden Palm Sainik Bhavan in Secunderabad.
More than 10 companies covering a wide range of industries participated in the conference. While more than 100 candidates were interviewed, more than 60 candidates were shortlisted.
Hosting GOC, HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, Brigadier General K Somashankar, SM visited the venue and motivated the candidates. He urged participating companies to come forward, hire veterans, and host such events in other parts of the state because they don’t have access to better trained, motivated and disciplined human resources under one umbrella. The joint venture was coordinated with the help of the Magic Bus Foundation.
