Madhapur Police along with Durgam Cheruvu Lake Police rescued a woman who jumped from a cable bridge into the lake
Hyderabad: Madhapur Police and Durgam Cheruvu Lake Police rescued a woman who jumped into the lake from a cable bridge on Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old woman came to the rope bridge and jumped into Durgam Cheruvu. On noticing this, the Madhapur patrol officers immediately diverted the Durgam Cheruvu Lake Police who arrived at the scene by boat.
Deputy Inspector Bhanu Prakash and boatman Manohar rescued the woman from the water and transferred her to a private hospital where she is recuperating.
