TERRACE, B.C. – Terrace RCMP are appealing to the public for assistance following a pedestrian hit-and-run collision that occurred on the evening of November 3, 2025.
The incident took place at approximately 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Kalum Street and Park Avenue.
According to police, the striking vehicle was identified as an orange Ford SUV. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Kalum Street and was executing a left turn onto Park Avenue (proceeding westbound) when it collided with a female pedestrian.
The driver of the orange SUV failed to remain at the scene after the impact. Fortunately, the female pedestrian reported sustaining non-serious injuries.
The Terrace RCMP detachment is the lead investigative agency and is actively searching for the driver and the specific vehicle. Investigators are urging any individuals who witnessed the collision, or local businesses that may have captured the incident on CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) footage, to come forward.
